    My latest purchase was for my wife who has eight alarms available yet always asks to use mine (she's afraid she'll sleep through an alarm).

    I absolutely love that you can quickly change the alarm time, basically with one finger movement.

    Another great feature is that the lighting is clearly different when you've set the alarm so you can see the alarm is set across the room, from bed. For my wife, this is of exceptional value.

    I'd be happier if it had a 24 hr alarm, but that is a minor beef.

    Because it is battery powered, I don't worry about power outages.

    There are many clocks out there that are difficult to do something with and this has very little to disparage.

    Setting the current time is a tiny chore, as you have to open the battery compartment (a finger movement) to get to it, but you don't need to set it often at all -- so it might be safer this way.

    I bought this alarm to replace a Braun battery powered alarm that I loved and used for 10 years. What I wanted was a clock that was totally battery powered (no problems with plugs, wires or resetting when the power failed), lit up at night, easy to set, good snooze setting and nice wake-up tone. Although this clock is clunkier than the Braun and lacks the motion sensor in the Braun that let me turn on the light and snooze it with a wave of my hand, it has a nice dial, is easy to set and is lit at night. However, the alarm is LOUD, ANNOYING, and besides waking me up, is guaranteed to put me in a bad mood. It's so annoying that I avoid using the snooze button. I guess that may be a good thing, since I just get up at first warning, but I have to say I want to jump on this thing and break it into satisfyingly small pieces. I'm looking for a replacement, but now that I know I have to hear the alarm, I'm reluctant to order over the web. Why did Braun stop making the great clocks they used to make????

        I like everything about this clock--even the alarm--except for the fact that I can't see it at night. There is a teeny, weeny little light at the bottom of the face and,unless I actually pick the clock up, I cannot see the time. I finally realized that the only clock for me is a LED clock. But, as clocks go, this one is great and keeps good time.
