The solid wood frame has a generous diameter, and graceful fluting giving lovely definition. The tide clock itself is encased in solid tarnish-proof brass that glows against the wood's natural grain.
Reminiscent of a porthole, the clock is mounted to the base with three capped bolts that add nice detail.
