Countries handcrafted from 25 types of semi-precious gemstones are surrounded by oceans made of your choice of blue lapis or white mother-of-pearl. The globe surface is protected by ten coats of clear lacquer, which impart a lustrous sheen to bring out the brilliant colors of the stones. Lines of latitude and longitude are clearly visible, as are country names and other salient details. The incredibly accurate clock uses quartz movement and classic Roman numerals to tell you the time with classic, accurate style.
