The exquisite details crafted into the Hermle Clifford Classic Floor Clock elevate its status as a fine time piece. The attractive, straight waist case is constructed from hardwoods and veneers, and has an elegant cherry finish. The columns boast a stunning carved acanthus-leaf molding, drawing attention upward from the multi-tiered base and contoured feet. Polished brass weight shells and a large pendulum with intricate detailing are visible through the beautiful beveled glass of the locking arched door. The 8-day, cable-driven movement allows you to hear the Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael melodies. This exceptional floor clock also has an automatic night shut-off for your convenience. Available with or without the optional auto-wind.

About Hermle

Although the business started in 1922 to produce clock parts, Franz Hermle quickly expanded on his success in the 1930s by manufacturing complete clocks. Throughout their respectable history, Hermle has continued to work toward perfecting the mechanical movement, even while embracing the quartz movement as it became popular in the 1970s. Their knowledge and experience is renowned, as many famous companies around the globe use Hermle movements in their own clock lines. Today, Hermle's desirable clocks and movements are exported to over 100 countries.

Now in its third generation, Franz Hermle and Sohn operates four manufacturing facilities in Germany, and one location in the United States.
