The locking hinged top door features convex glass and a removable finial. The hinged bottom door features seeded glass. The clock's antiqued dial includes worn black Roman numerals, a separate seconds track, and black serpentine hands. Antiqued brushed brass weight shells peek through the glass of the bottom door, along with a pendulum bob on a wooden stick. Both the case and dial are illuminated. A distinctive base offers an inset panel with book-matched Cathedral Cherry Heartwood veneers and a decorative cutout.
The cable-driven Kieninger movement offers a Westminster chime and automatic chime shut-off for nighttime. Use adjustable levelers under each corner to make the clock stable on uneven floors and carpet.
