The Hermle Charlotte Floor Clock features a solid wooden case with beautiful burlwood inlays. The cherrywood finish endures several production steps to achieve the fine original shades. This timepiece features an open design with clear side glass panels and beveled glass on the front. That full view showcases the white dial with Roman numerals and a swinging brass pendulum. The mechanical cable-driven movement plays the Westminster chime. This well-crafted floor clock has a silencing lever, automatic night shut-off and 8-day power reserve.

About Hermle

Although the business started in 1922 to produce clock parts, Franz Hermle quickly expanded on his success in the 1930s by manufacturing complete clocks. Throughout their respectable history, Hermle has continued to work toward perfecting the mechanical movement, even while embracing the quartz movement as it became popular in the 1970s. Their knowledge and experience is renowned, as many famous companies around the globe use Hermle movements in their own clock lines. Today, Hermle's desirable clocks and movements are exported to over 100 countries.

Now in its third generation, Franz Hermle and Sohn operates four manufacturing facilities in Germany, and one location in the United States.
