Ridgeway Clocks

With a worldwide reputation for quality, family-owned Ridgeway clocks is a leader in the industry for skilled craftsmanship.

Ridgeway's History
In 1955, a man named Richard Pleasants Gravely created Gravely Furniture, a company that produced excellent clocks. The company was purchased at a later date by Pulaski Furniture, and is now known as the Ridgeway Clock Company, remaining where it has always been - in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Built to Last for Generations
Ridgeway produces clocks with quality and longevity in mind. For instance, the access doors on a Ridgeway clock are constructed using a solid piece instead of joints and pieces. Ridgeway understands that the access doors are the most regularly handled part of weekly wound clocks. A solid access door will endure for years of regular use. Also, Ridgeway fuses all original turnings to the case using glue and screws; and Ridgeway uses metal miters to connect bases and crowns to their clock cabinets, instead of weaker wooden dowels. Concerning the clock mechanism itself, Ridgeway clocks benefit from superiorly crafted German timepieces.

Good Looks
Ridgeway puts premium hardwood into their clock cabinets, including poplar, oak, cherry and maple. To ensure cabinets have a smooth feel and lustrous appearance, they are hand sanded, stained, sealed and then sanded again. Multiple lacquer glazing completes the process, highlighting the wood's unique grain and giving the finished piece that look of quality that only Ridgeway can deliver.

The Ridgeway Clock Company was founded on a tradition of supreme quality. You can enjoy the results of their craftsmanship in your home by choosing an authentic Ridgeway clock.
