The Howard Miller Nicolette Grandfather Clock features a Golden Oak finish on select hardwoods and veneers. This floor clock offers a graceful bonnet pediment with book-matched olive ash burl and a decorative shell and vine overlay. An astrological blue moon phase sets off the polished brass dial, featuring cast corners, center ornaments, a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals, and a Ambassador Collection inscription. The polished-brass pendulum includes a center disk that is complementary to both the dial and weights. The illuminated case and mirrored back highlight the weights and pendulum.
The multi-tiered base features a decorative cutout with a wrap-around embossed molding. Intricate carvings above the reeded columns draw attention to the dial. Crystal-cut, grooved glass enhances the front lower door, with beveled glass on the lower side panels. Removable, fret-cut top side panels allow easy access to the movement, which is a cable-driven triple-chime Kieninger movement with an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. This clock also features a locking door for added security. Adjustable levelers under all corners level the clock on uneven or carpeted floors.
This clock comes complete with a brass plate that's ready for engraving with your personal message. The plate measures 1H x 3W inches and has double-sided tape on the back for easy mounting to the clock.
