I bought this clock to replace a ceramic one I had in my kitchen. This clock is metal, so I won't worry as much about it breaking. It is very attractive, well made and easy to read. Not too big. Would look even better in an office, it looks expensive!

Hands are same color as background. so it's hard to see what time it is from across the room.

I was looking for a clock I could see from across the room. This one fit that criteria and is perfect with my decor. I returned it because I could't stand hearing 60 clicks a minute. Not a good clock for a library. Might be perfect in a room with enough white noise to camouflage the clicking second hand.
