When the hour strikes, the cuckoo comes out to sing and the beer drinkers come to life; the waitress serves beer, and dancing couples sway to and fro. In the meantime, the clock strikes up with one of two 22-note Swiss melodies, which alternate each hour. This beautiful clock features a wooden clock face and hands and a warm antique finish. It has a nighttime shut-off switch and operates on an eight-day movement, which requires winding once a week.
