The day hand moves 2.14 degrees every hour, making a complete revolution every 168 hours (or once a week). The lines dividing the days indicate midnight, the midpoint above each day indicates noon, and halfway between the midpoint and each line indicates 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. which means you'll know at a glance what day it is. Reliable quartz movement ensures accuracy. Whether the day of the week is more important to you than the time or if you just need a reminder of what day it is, this is the perfect clock for you. Runs on one AA battery (not included).

This beautiful daypiece has saved my rushing to get ready on 'forgotten days', helps get my bills paid on time, keep dates w/my friends. I've tried to think of something I don't like about it and I can't.

Purchased the Classic Day Clock for my 83 year old Dad who was starting to have difficulty remembering what day of the week it was. This product was a good choice for him as it also helps him with taking his meds appropriately from his med box, as he has a cross check on what day of the week it is. The only negative with the DAy Clock is that it should have bigger or bolder days of the week for those who are elderly and may have trouble seeing . We were able to position the clock more at eye level for him but could see some difficulty in reading the clock if it had to be placed higher up or farther away.

I made a call to inquire about a replacement movement as mine had quit in less that 1 year. Battery was not corroded and I replaced the battery correctly. I could not find a movement locally so I called their number and they could not divulge their supplier and could not give me any help on finding a movement. They would however sell me a new clock. No thanks!

My dining room wall is a collage of "clocks" including a 24 hour clock, world clock (set to the time in the location of my deployed Marine son), a large decorative clock, and now my day of the week clock.

I bought this clock for my mother who's memory is starting to fail. Even though we joke about her asking everyday "what day is it" I know it bothered her to ask. I saw this clock and knew right away she would appreciate it.
