The Ridgeway Mazarin Chiming Wall Clock is a Victorian classic finished in Glen Arbor cherry on selected hardwoods and olive ash veneers. The Mazarin adorns the wall at the fictional address 221 Baker Street - home to the great Sherlock Holmes. This stunning wall clock features an intricately carved top crown set between two turned capitols on beautifully turned, flowing columns. Elegant burl veneer swirls on the front case bonnet, creating a sophistication only acquired from years past. A Vienna-style dial with a white enamel finish and black Arabic numerals is visible through the clock's front glass. You can also see the screened black background and gold ribbon frame that accentuates the mirror-polished lyre pendulum.
The New Kieninger quartz battery-operated movement plays the popular Westminster chime and one of Beethoven's greatest masterpieces from his 9th Symphony, "Ode to Joy." Either chime plays the tune progressively each quarter hour with a separate hour strike to count the time. This movement also offers an adjustable volume control feature and a user-selectable automatic silence feature for eight hours. A one-year warranty is included with this clock. Two C batteries are required (not included). 31H x 15 1/2W x 7D.
